Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was the youngest of the children of singer Dionne Warswick, and gospel music legend Cissy Houston. Whitney Elizabeth Houston grew up in a family that was musical. In Newark Whitney started singing with the choir of the church when she was a young child. When she was 15 years old, she joined her mom in backing vocals in Chaka's hit Im Every Woman from 1978. Her mother, Jermaine, and Lou Rawls were a few of the artists she backed up. The singer was also modeling for Seventeen Magazine in 1981. She began working as a featured vocalist for the band from New York called Material in the year 1981. It was this quality of her vocal work together that brought the attention of major record labels, including Arista which she signed with in 1983, and with whom she was for the rest of her professional career. The debut Whitney Houston album was released in the year 1985. It was one of the best-selling album by a musician. Many hit songs, including the hit songs Saving All My Love For You How Do I know It's Good to Love You and The Most Beautiful Love of All were released from the album setting her up to smash the Beatles record with seven consecutive US top 10s. In its initial US year the album sold over 3 million units. It went on to be purchased by 25 million people worldwide and earned her her first Grammy. The follow-up album released in 1987 Whitney which included the hits Where Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built upon her successes, but it was her 1992 movie The Bodyguard (1992) that established her as one of the most successful artists ever. While the movie and the performances of the actress were not highly praised, the soundtrack album with her version of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You was her top single and album for several months. It sold more than 44 million copies across the globe. When she had her daughter Bobbi, Brown married Bobby Brown of the ex-New Edition group. Around this time her use of drugs became well documented and she started using it daily in 1996.
Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she is employed by CNN as both a reporter, anchorwoman and political reporter. The anchor has also created some of the network's weekend shows like the Evans & Novak' Late Edition as well as Inside Politics.' She has worked for other renowned channels, such as NBC and CBS. Coming to her distinctions and awards Bash has been featured in Women in Washington Power List' by Elle magazine. Her amazing anchoring and reporting skills are praised by many journalists. Personally, she is a graduate of George Washington University is a doting mother to her only son. She is single and has been married two times.
